The treatment of lung cancer depends on various factors, but one main factor is the type of lung cancer. Lung cancers can be divided into two basic types. One type is called a Small Cell Lung Cancer and the other type is called a Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. Small Cell lung cancer is the more aggressive type.
